ST. PAUL – Levi Johnston, the 18-year-old paramour of 17-year-old Bristol Palin, daughter of GOP vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin, has sold advertising space on his hand to pharmaceutical behemoth Bristol-Myers Squibb.

Mr. Johnston was shown on television at the Republican National Convention Wednesday night sporting a tattoo on his ring finger that says “Bristol.” On his way out of the convention center, he was approached by representatives of Bristol-Myers Squibb, and within minutes he signed a six-figure contract to add the words ”-Myers Squibb” to the finger.

According to a family friend who asked not to be named, Bristol Palin was upset by her boyfriend’s deal, but he convinced her that the words he agreed to add to his finger have nothing to do with the pharmaceutical company.  ”He told her he intends to name their first children ‘hyphen Myers’ and ‘Squibb,’” according to the family friend.  “And she’s OK with that.”
